RE Lab's SANE Case Practice and Workshop is a unique opportunity to develop your skills in caring for a patient who has experienced sexual violence and to join our growing network of RE Lab SANEs. The workshop is in Minneapolis, MN.  Travel and lodging are covered for eligible members.

What you will do in this experience:

• Gain confidence and competence caring for a patient presenting with a recent experience of sexual violence
• Learn from expert sexual assault nurse examiners
• Your level of experience will be accommodated in our tailored teaching and small group processes
• Simulation experiences will cover four phases of a forensic nurse exam with an adult or adolescent: trauma-informed history taking, head to toe assessment (with photography), pelvic exam (with photography), and medication assessment/discharge education
• Learn alongside colleagues, taking time to talk through challenges and to practice these skills
