Advanced Clinical Skills for SANE-A
Deepen your SANE skills through interactive wound documentation and sensitive exam workshops.
- Learn more about how to identify, document, and photograph wounds through an interactive workshop, and then practice those skills on working with Patient Educators with diverse skin tones with simulated wounds.
- Complete sensitive exams with skilled Patient Educators, trained to teach these skills with their bodies to medical professionals. Exams include Breast, Chest, Pelvic (speculum), Penis, Scrotum, and Rectal (anoscope)
- Learn alongside colleagues, taking time to talk through challenges and to practice skills

Prerequisites for Participation: Completion of a 40-hour didactic SANE-A course and a SANE-A clinical skills lab.
